Thank you to the following people and fan pages whose work and research I’ve used! In March of 2020, I began the Instagram project Star Trek + Design to help me identify the manufacturers and designers whose work were used in the various Star Trek series. Soon after beginning the project, I found that I was, unsurprisingly, not alone in this hobby, as I came across the personal blogs and websites of several other collectors. I compiled this page to give proper credit to the people and pages whose work and knowledge I’ve used.
Additionally, each post I make that uses or builds upon someone else’s work will be credited individually. Any post without an attribution was sourced by me, with two notable exceptions: Carsten Jorgensen’s Bistro Cup and Maurice Burke’s Tulip Chair. Those two pieces are considered common knowledge by the Star Trek fandom and would be impossible to attribute who first noticed their use in Trek. Thus, they are not attributed, but I am certainly not the first to identify them.

Star Trek: Designing the Final Frontier
A recently-published book by Dan Chavkin and Brian McGuire. It’s an incredibly thoughtful and extensive look at the way mid century modernism was used in Star Trek The Original Series. The objects on Star Trek + Design that have been sourced from Designing the Final Frontier were done so with permission from Dan Chavkin.
