Arturo Silva was an Italian industrial designer, best known for his lighting for Antonangeli. His Galileo lamp incorporates an unusual magnifying lens to adjust light intensity. It was produced in both floor and ceiling variations. Several Galileo floor lamps were used in The Next Generation episode, “The Most Toys,” in Kivas Fajo’s collection gallery.
