Peter Ng is a contemporary American lighting designer, whose two sons founded the lighting company, Koncept, for which this lamp was designed. The Z-Bar Solo features a detachable base and can be customized with multiple accessories to allow it to be affixed as a wall light, or with a clip as a reading light. It was used as set dressing for Discovery’s Sick Bay.
