Kalisto Kitchen Boxes by Clare Brass for Alessi

Clare Brass is an English-born industrial designer, who currently lives and works in Milan. Her Kalisto kitchen boxes for Alessi are among her best known works. Her Kalisto 3, with the ringed sides and flat handle, was used in the Voyager episode, “Flashback,” as set dressing for the USS Excelsior. The Kalisto 1, featuring polka dot detailing and a crescent handle, was used in “Future’s End (Part 1),” in Henry Starling’s office.
