Simon Candelabra by Borek Sipek for Driade

Designed 1989
In production through Driade

Borek Sipek was a Czech architect and industrial designer, who has been referred to as the “father of neo-Baroque.” His Simon candelabra features sinuous tendril-like curves giving it a distinctly alien look. It was used in the Deep Space Nine episode, “Through the Looking Glass,” as set dressing for Mirror Kira/the Intendant’s quarters.
