Bibendum Chair by Eileen Gray

Designed 1927
In production through ClassiCon

Eileen Gray was an Irish architect, furniture designer, and queer pioneer of early modernism. Her Bibendum chair was inspired by the “Bibendum” Michelin man, and, she joked, was a feminist response to Le Corbusier’s Grand Confort chair. It was used in The Next Generation and Voyager, to furnish certain crew quarters, and in the Enterprise episode, “Cogenitor,” aboard the Vissian ship.
