Poly Chair by Karim Rashid for Bonaldo

Karim Rashid is a contemporary Egyptian architect and industrial designer, known for his use of organic shapes and futuristic silhouettes. His Poly chair appears twice in Strange New Worlds: first in the episode, “Ad Astra Per Aspera,” for the meeting between First Officer Una Chin-Riley and Captain Batel, and again in “The Sehlat Who Ate its Tail,” in the USS Farragut’s sickbay.
