Massimo Iosa Ghini is an Italian interior designer, architect, and industrial designer. He is known for his association with the Memphis Group and as a pioneer of the Bolidist Movement. His Velox chairs were produced with and without arms. The armless variation was used in the TNG episode, “The High Ground.”
