Warren Platner was an American architect and interior designer, best known for his Platner collection. The latter, of which the Platner Side Table is a part, features iconic sculptural steel wiring. It was used in several episodes of Voyager, as furnishing for Captain Janeway’s quarters, certain crew quarters, and for the EMH’s office.
