Ron Rezek is an American industrial designer, best known for his lighting designs. Several of his lamps (and a fan) were used in Star Trek. This postmodern torchiere was used in The Next Generation episode, “First Contact,” in the Chancellor’s office on Malcor III, in several Deep Space Nine episodes, in Rom’s quarters, and the Voyager episode, “In the Flesh,” in the apartment of “Valery Archer” on the Species 8472 simulation of Earth.
