Peter Opsvik is a Norwegian industrial designer, best known for his sculptural, ergonomic chairs. His Anova 2030s were used in throughout The Next Generation, most prominently as seating for the Enterprise-D’s Observation Lounge. They were also used in Voyager, as the captain’s chair on the Prometheus, and in Picard, in Admiral Picard’s office at Chateau Picard.
