Warren Platner was an American architect and interior designer, best known for his Platner collection. The latter, of which the Platner Stool is a part, features iconic sculptural steel wiring and gentle, rounded seats. The Platner Stool was used in several apisodes of The Next Generation, as set dressing for Counselor Troi’s office.
