Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni were Italian industrial designers, known for their contributions to space age design. Their Rocchetto Stool for Kartell features a removeable top and hidden storage. It was used as in The Search for Spock, with the seat removed for use as a side table, in the Starfleet Headquarters lounge, and in The Next Generation, in the Enterprise-D’s Engineering section, as well as on the Ferengi Marauder in “Ménage à Troi.”
