Marek Kmicikiewicz was a Polish-born Canadian automotive engineer whose Workseat was designed to reduce spinal stress among office workers. His Workseat for Ergoform may be the most reused chair in the Star Trek franchise. It appears in The Undiscovered Country, The Next Generation, Generations, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise, in several locations as both desk chairs and bridge chairs.
