Bruce Burdick was an American industrial designer and founder of the Burdick Group. His first contribution to Herman Miller was the Burdick Group System, of which this table is a part. The Burdick Group Table was designed for office and conference room setting, and can be expanded to several different sizes and configurations. It was used in the Voyager episode, “Real Life,” as a dining table for the EMH’s holographic family home.
