Maurice Burke was a mid century industrial designer, best known for his work for Arkana. The Burke 115 Chair and 116 Armchair are arguably the most iconic pieces of furniture of any Star Trek series, but the Burke tulip table was also used prominently in The Original Series. These tables can often be found in auctions with the attribution: “in the style of Eero Saarinen.”
