Orchidea Coffee Table by Massimo Morozzi

Massimo Morozzi was an Italian architect and industrial designer. He founded Archizoom Associati in 1966, with designer Andrea Branzi and architects Gilberto Corretti and Paolo Deganello. Archizoom became a pioneering group of the Italian Radical design movement, alongside Superstudio and UFO. This coffee table was produced as part of the Orchidae series. It was used in The Next Generation episode, “Starship Mine,” on the Arkaria Base, and the Enterprise episode, “Bound,” on the Orion ship. This episode also featured several side tables of Morozzi’s “Orchidea” line.
