Orchidea Side Table by Massimo Morozzi

Massimo Morozzi was an Italian architect and industrial designer. He founded Archizoom Associati in 1966, with designer Andrea Branzi and architects Gilberto Corretti and Paolo Deganello. Archizoom became a pioneering group of the Italian Radical design movement, alongside Superstudio and UFO. This side table was produced as part of the Orchidea series. It was used in The Next Generation episodes, “First Contact,” in the medical facility on Malcor III, and “Starship Mine,” on the Arkaria Base; and the Enterprise episode, “Bound,” on the Orion ship.
