Trolley Cart by Giovanni Pelis for Stile Neolt

Giovanni Pelis was a mid century Italian industrial designer, whose trolley cart for Stile Neolt remains his best known work. It’s very similar to Joe Colombo’s Boby Cart, which was also used in several Star Trek series. The key difference between the Boby and Pelis’ trolley is that the latter’s drawers open directly outward, while the drawers on Colombo’s Boby Cart fan out. It was used in The Final Frontier, on the bridge of the Enterprise-A.
