Wilhelm Wagenfeld was a prolific mid century German industrial designer and student of the Bauhaus School. Wagenfeld’s ethos, that his designs should be “cheap enough for the worker and good enough for the rich,” seems ironic, as this set now retails for upwards of $200. The Max and Morris set was used in the TOS episode, “The Man Trap.”
