Richard K. Thomas was a mid century industrial designer, whose work has been featured in NYC’s Museum of Modern Art. His Tri-Corner Bowls are produced in multiple sizes, and I believe those used in Voyager were the 6” version. Barb at Quark’s Qantina has written that the Klingon racht bowl used in the Deep Space Nine episode, “Playing God,” is incredible similar to the 11” Tri-Corner, but appears to have four sides.
