Thermos is an American manufacturer of insulated food and beverage containers, originally founded in Germany in 1904. This vacuum pitcher appears in Captain Pike’s Talosian-induced illusion of an idyllic picnic with Vina in the pilot episode, “The Cage,” and later, using the same footage, in “The Menagerie.”
