Watercolor Tray by Tupperware

Designed c. 1988
No longer in production

Tupperware is an American kitchenware company, founded in 1946 by Earl Tupper. Its name is now synonymous with plastic food storage. In the late 1980’s the company released the Watercolor line, which featured colorful clear acrylic trays, cups, and serveware. The tray from this set is usually accompanied by matching dividers, which were not used in Star Trek.

Special thanks to the Tupperware History Group for their help in confirming my identification, approximate dating, and for being a welcoming and enthusiastic group of experts and hobbyists in an area of industrial design I previously knew nothing about.
