Aldo Rossi was an Italian architect, designer, and a pioneer of postmodern design. His La Cupola espresso maker was designed for luxury homeware company, Alessi. It was used in the Voyager episode, “Flashback” on the bridge of the Excelsior, and in several episodes of Enterprise, in Captain Archer’s quarters.
